Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH founded by Katharina and Wolfgang Wiedemann in 1985. And it is driven by a passionate and enduring pursuit of new technologies, especially when it comes to solving complex technical problems. The original product focus, sensors and measurement technologies, was expanded to include mobile controllers in 1989. The combined businesses led STW to the acquisition of it's own facilities in 1990. And just four years later, STW created a sister company, KMW, specializing in thin film technologies and micro systems. To support their growth, STW expanded and acquired addition facilities in 1997 and again in 1998. In 2000, the STW group consists of more than 160 employees and boasts a worldwide presence. And in 2001, STW established subsidiaries in the USA and the UK. STW’s experience, dedicated employees, and sophisticated products combine to make them a reliable and long-term partner for their customers.
STW's products include: Pressure Transmitter with Thin-Film sensors, Pressure Transmitters with Silicon or Ceramic Sensors, Customer Specific Solution and Display.
