PRODUCT : RF MICROWAVE : European Antennas

Founded in 1991, European Antennas Ltd is part of the Chelton Group of companies, a subsidiary of Cobham plc.
The company specialises in the design and development of high gain, multi-layer printed circuit arrays, ultra wide-band spirals, multi-octave bicones and high gain collinear omni directional antennas. Measurement range is typically within 400MHz to 40GHz.
Communication industry awareness and expertise in antenna physics combine to ensure a close working partnership with customers. From initial concept to finished production, their design and development service provides cost-effective and technically focused solutions. Expertise in laminates ensures optimum material will be chosen for base stations or subscriber antennas where reliability, performance and price are critical. Contract developments or licenced designs can be undertaken for integration into radio units.
CST Microwave Studio(r) and other software is used to assist in the modelling of new antenna designs prior to their construction, to enhance accuracy and speed the development cycle. A consultancy service can produce design solutions to a wide range of customers' needs. Where it is required, designs can be substantiated with tested prototypes.
A wide range of antennas is available from their existing catalogue for specific frequencies in various markets. Existing antennas can be tailored to meet specific requirements, or new developments can be undertaken.
Outdoor antennas are fully sealed and rugged to withstand harsh environmental conditions for both military and commercial applications.
Their antennas are discreet in appearance for architectural approval and can blend in with the scenery or decor.
A variety of mounting arrangements is available - wall or ceiling, for masts, on buildings or other structures and special mounting arrangements can be designed.
Special antenna designs can be built in low quantities for unique applications, such as the nadir antenna for Surrey Satellite Technology.
Designs include flat panel, sector, low profile, omni, hemi omni, dipole, helix, broadband andnarrow band antennas that can be mounted on masts, walls, ceilings, roofs, UAVs, helicopters, missiles, race cars, TV cameras, weather buoys and satellites.
Directional up to 32 dBi gain, sector antennas with beamwidths from 20o to 180o to help reduce inventory.
The business objective of European Antennas Ltd is to provide products and services of exceptional value to their customers by ensuring that their expectations are realised and that every endeavour is made to exceed them. To meet this objective, changes and improvements are continually implemented to manufacturing resources, processes and procedures via investment planning and training. European Antennas is an NQA ISO9001 registered company.
